With the start of 2019 seeing one of the greenest seasons Mabula has had in half a decade, it comes as no surprise that life is simply bursting at the seams. Whilst summer is usually a time for the smaller inhabitants of the African bush to make themselves known, it has actually been the larger creatures that have been carrying the torch over into the New Year, and the spectacular cheetahs, elephants and lions viewing experienced over the past month has been some of the best in years. The New Year has aligned in spectacular fashion with new life across the board, from the smallest impala lambs to the wobbly calves of the eland, wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes herds, and it is all taking place against the backdrop of the most verdant green the area has seen in a month…
