We are quickly heading towards the finish of another tax year at the end of February. So, this is a reminder for our South African supporters, that you can offset some of your tax burden this year by donating to the Mabula Ground Hornbill Project, a registered NGO, as prescribed in section 18A of the South African Income Tax Act.

Major projects this year include:
- The construction and installation of artificial nest sites for Southern Ground-Hornbill in areas where natural nest sites have been destroyed;
- Our continuing efforts to reintroduce and intensively monitor all new birds once they have been released into the field;
- Community outreach – we aim to reach and inform all communities where Southern Ground-Hornbill persist in the wild outside of protected areas and;
- Printing of our Southern Ground-Hornbill comic for distribution to all schools were Southern ground hornbills persist.
