Guided Bush Walks
Rangers will accompany you on an experience that introduces you to Nature on an intimate level. Being on foot allows you to witness the detail of both Flora and Fauna on a different scale, often highlighting smaller and less familiar species. Rangers are specifically qualified to undertake walking safaris and are well equipped to ensure safety. Wear comfortable walking shoes and khaki coloured clothing to blend in with the natural environment. Bright colours are not permitted.

Horseback Safaris / Trail
Horseback Safaris offer a different perspective for wildlife viewing.  Benefit from the height and mobility offered from being mounted that sets this opportunity aside from other activities. Experienced Rangers ensure that riders are aware of the necessary safety precautions. Long trousers and closed shoes are recommended.

Summer: 06h00 / 09h00 / 16h00

Winter: 07h00 / 10h00 / 15h00

Eco Adventure Trails (Quad Bike Safaris)
Participate in an adventure over safari trails on a quad bike. With the emphasis on safety, rangers ensure that participants are wearing the necessary safety gear before exploring the reserve. The safari is undertaken on 250cc Suzuki Quad bikes that can be driven in manual or automatic.

Times:
Summer: 07h00 / 10h00 / 15h00 / 17h00

Team Building

THE AMAZING RACE  THE ULTIMATE TEAM BUILDING BUSH BREAK
The Amazing Race is the ultimate team-building event that tests team endurance and coordination. Just as seen on TV, expect lies, deception, clues and intrigue. Navigate your team’s 4×4 Toyota Landcruiser Game Viewer around the one hundred and twenty square kilometres Greater Mabula Game Reserve and observe the bushveld as you have never before.

Engaging all your senses and pushing your team to the limit in a really fun-filled three-hour activity followed by a sensational prize-giving event and sundowners served under the ancient fig tree overlooking the Mabula savanna.

Facilitated by the Mabula team, each team will be hosted by a qualified guide. The guide will follow the team’s instructions and assist them in their quest to reach their destination. Upon reaching the map point, a riddle will be found and the team can allocate one of the team members to complete the task.

Tasks consist of everything from shooting a catapult, to eating a gory mass of sweet treats, to constructing a rhino or even identifying spoor. Elements of birding, game viewing and other conservation activities are added to the fun-filled experience. Teams will race each other across the stunning big five game reserve whilst trying to avoid various detours and roadblocks, following a series of clues to reach the final point
